Fleeing the war in Ukraine, three generations of Adriana’s family crossed 8 countries squashed in a small car driven by her grandmother.
Adriana studied at Chernivtsi Applied College of Technologies and Design, and Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. She trained further in Drawing and Painting
at the Slade School of Fine Art.
Toothpaste “Freedom” reflects the absurdity of theprevious government of the USSR and now Russia. It seems bizarre such an ordinary thing as toothpaste would carry a threat for them if it is named “Freedom” – something not allowed today.
